8:45 - 9:45 a.m. -- Cindy Tomcak, Cindy Tomcak Coaching & Development - "Make Every Conversation Count...With Yourself and Others"

Every conversation with your customers, your prospects, your teammates, and yes even your family and friends, is influenced by the way you communicate. Why do you click with some and not others? Communication happens on the listener’s terms. Many times, the message is interpreted differently than you intended. This is one of the challenges of communication and first impressions, both in person and via technology.  The conversations we have with ourselves and with others can make or break our success. Cindy's presentation will shed light on the importance of self-discovery and awareness for continued growth personally and professionally. She brings to the table a common language that will help enable you to build better relationships as well as develop tools to support a winning mind-set to help Make Every Conversation Count.

9:45 – 10:00 a.m. -- Break with exhibitors

10:00 – 11:00 a.m. -- Jerome Mayne, International keynote speaker on fraud and ethics --"Fraud and Consequences"

Jerome Mayne is the author of the book, Diary of a White Collar Criminal and co-author of "Mortgage Fraud and Predatory Lending – what every agent should know" (Dearborn/Kaplan). He has worked with dozens of companies and associations helping their people make the right decisions, when the right decisions aren’t easy. He is also a former felon.  As you can imagine, he has powerful stories about fraud, ethics and prison. Jerome speaks from experience with wit and passion. His story starts with success in corporate America and ends in federal prison for a white collar fraud conspiracy conviction. Click here for a "sneak peak" at this riveting presentation!

1:30 - 2:30 p.m. -- Dan Meers, Kansas City Chiefs Mascot -- "Take Off the Mask: Is Your Life Story Worth Telling?"

For the past 27 years, Dan has served as KC Wolf, the mascot for the Kansas City Chiefs football team. Dan averages more than 350 appear- ances each year and he has traveled throughout the United States and around the world entertaining fans of all ages. In 2006 Dan became the 1ˢᵗ NFL mascot inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame. When he began his career with the Chiefs back in 1990 Dan never dreamed that he would still be wearing a costume 2 ½ decades later, but as Dan’s wife likes to say……”OLD MASCOTS NEVER DIE, THEY JUST SMELL LIKE IT.”  In November 2013, Dan came within inches of losing his life while practicing a bungee jump and zip line stunt at Arrowhead Stadium. The stunt went terribly wrong and Dan plummeted 75 feet before crashing into the stadium seats. Miraculously, he survived. Dan will share his incredible story and the important lessons that he learned during his long road to recovery about leadership and about life. Whether at home, work or in the community, Dan will challenge you to live each day to the fullest.

Stick around following the presentation to get your picture taken with Dan in his KC Wolf mascot costume!  CLICK HERE to view a brief video clip of Dan discussing his accident and recovery.
